Working together changes things

A child’s school life doesn’t begin and end at the school gates. It works best when families and teachers know one another, talk openly and share the same hopes for the child at the heart of it all.

At Hollygirt, you don’t need to wait for a formal meeting to ask a question or raise a concern. Speak to your child’s subject teacher about their learning, or their form tutor about anything affecting their wider wellbeing. Small worries are often easier to solve when they’re shared early.

We’ll listen, be honest and bring our professional judgement - but every conversation begins with the same question: what does this child need to feel secure, make progress and thrive?

Together, we can build the everyday habits that make a lasting difference. Arriving on time. Attending regularly. Showing respect. Coming ready to learn. Small habits that help pupils feel settled, grow in confidence and make the most of every opportunity.
